Bij het ontwerpen van dit servies, werd ik geïnspireerd door sprookjes. Ik wou een elegante serviesreeks creëren, waarbij enkel door de vormgeving duidelijk moet worden over welk sprookje het gaat, zonder dus het hele verhaal te illustreren.
Het eerste servies is geïnspireerd op 'Alice in Wonderland' van Lewis Carrol, de tweede op 'Peter Pan' van J.M. Barrie en tot slot 'Belle en het Beest' van Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont.

Fairytales inspire me a lot and I always thought it goes really well with something as delicate and timeless as porcelain. I wanted to create different series, based on different fairytales, without illustrating the characters or the complete story. The result is a simple design with hints and references to the stories.
The first set is based on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by Lewis Carrol, the second on ‘Peter Pan’ by J.M. Barrie and the third on 'Beauty and the Beast' by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont.
